This 4 week course centers around the power and practice of walking as a means to connect you to your inner wisdom and clarity. Walking can bring about healing, inspiration and a means to simply bring you back to your self in order to experience the the world in a richer and more meaningful way. It also is a powerful tool to add to your creative practice. Each Friday you will receive an email with the week's focus. It will include short passages for reflection to guide your week, sketchbook exercises and prompts to do after your walks, and discussion questions for our zoom meet-ups. On Sundays from 3-4 pm pacific time we will meet via zoom. I will introduce the class with a short lesson and then facilitate a discussion to prepare for the coming week and share experiences gained during walking. During the week you will create your own rhythm and pace of walking - ideally taking one walk per day and journaling and or working in your sketchbook after. The level and pace of your participation is up to you. Even a short ten minute walk per day and joining the zoom calls is enough to begin to see the power of walking to contribute to your creative life. You can also invest more time in both walking and journaling / working in your sketchbook. The course is limited to a maximum of 10 participants.
